About Wellarae
Wellarae exists to make one difficult step a little easier: finding a therapist who fits.
Why we built it
Looking for therapy usually happens at the worst possible moment — when energy is low and patience is thin. Most directories answer that with noise: adverts, rankings, urgency. We wanted the opposite. Wellarae is quiet by design. Clear profiles, honest details, and no pressure to decide quickly.
How listings work
Therapists create their own listing and submit it for review. We check that the listing is complete, that a licensing body and registration number are named, and that the language is appropriate. A listing costs $10 per month. We do not sell placement, and there is no way to pay to appear higher in results.
What we deliberately leave out
No star ratings. No testimonials. No leaderboards. Therapy is not a restaurant, and a five-star average tells you almost nothing about whether someone is right for you. We give you the facts and trust you to make your own judgement.
Independence
Wellarae is an independent directory. We do not provide therapy, we do not employ the therapists listed here, and we are not part of any clinic or health system. Details are self-reported, and we encourage you to verify credentials with the licensing body named on each profile.
