Searching the directory
You can search Wellarae without an account. We do not ask what you are looking for help with, and search terms are not tied to your identity. Like most websites, our hosting providers may record standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability purposes.
Therapist accounts
Therapists provide their name, credentials, licensing details, contact information, fees and practice description. Once a listing is published, that information is public by design. Account email addresses and subscription records are not published. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details.
What we never collect
We do not collect clinical notes, health records, or any information about a visitor's reason for seeking therapy. Conversations between you and a therapist happen entirely outside Wellarae, and booking links on profiles lead to the therapist's own external scheduling provider — no appointment or health information passes through Wellarae.
Cookies and analytics
Wellarae uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep information
Published listing information stays public while the listing is live. Account and subscription records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Your rights and choices
Therapists can edit or unpublish their listing at any time from their dashboard. Anyone can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting us at venturesdirectory@gmail.com. We handle requests in line with applicable privacy law, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and similar rights that may apply where you live.
